Responsibilities :

• Architect highly-performant, reliable, services used by millions of external and hundreds of internal customers.

• Work closely with our internal customers and stakeholders across all lines of business - Riders, UberEats, Jump, Freight, etc. - to build the services and tools that power hundreds of millions of daily user interactions.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to build scalable systems with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.

• Work on a truly unique set of problems. The nature of Uber's business imposes a distinct set of constraints that cannot be found elsewhere.

• Work with empathetic, smart, and motivated teammates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Work on mission-critical projects that are transparent both inside and outside of Uber & Creating Impact.

• Build world-class tech for high throughput and low latency distributed systems. We take pride in creating elegant and reliable code.
