Indian Air Force(IAF) has announced job notification, for recruitment of the post of office Commissioned Officers. Important dates:
Opening date for submission:- 1 June 2021

Closing date for submission:- 30 June 2021

Exam commencement date: 28 to 30 Aug 2021

Age Limits:
  Flying Branch:- 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 year i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive).

 Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches:- 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2022 i.e. born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive).

 Salary package:-

Note: Flight Cadets shall receive a fixed stipend of Rs 56,100/- per month during one year of training. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Flying Branch:
 Applicant must have a minimum of 60% score each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level.
 Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognized University who must have a minimum 60% score or equivalent OR
 Candidate must have a degree in BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
 Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

 Ground Duty (Technical):
 Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics)/(Mechanical):
 Applicant must have a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and should have a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University
OR cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India)

Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

Administration:
 Applicant must have passed 10+2 and Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Education:
 Applicant must have passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% in any discipline, including integrated courses offering PG (Single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry) and 60% marks in Graduation in any field.

NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch):
 Applicant must have minimum of 60% marks in each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level.

 Applicant must have done his graduation (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. (OR)

 Candidate must have done BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognized University with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent(OR)

 Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
 NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and validity of the certificate would be two years before the date of advertisement.

Meteorology:
 Applicant must have done his/her Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geophysics/ Environmental Biology and completed with minimum of 50% marks

Note: Candidates who are studying in the final year/semester Degree course and are yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply, only when the candidate does not have any present backlog and should have scored a minimum of 60% marks upto the last semester/year for which results have been declared upto the time of submission of application.

Physical Fitness Test:

 Candidates should be able to run 1 mile (1.6 km) in 10 mins
 And also should be able to do 10 pushups and 03 chin-ups.

Selection procedure:
 Written examination - consists of 2 stages.
 Medical examination

Examination Fee:
 For AFCAT Entry an amount of Rs.250/- to be paid.
 For NCC particular entry & Meteorology: Not required to pay any fee
